Hi

I just got the Maintenance belt signal, about 59 blinks. MP500 with 6257 Miles.

I do want to change but my question is does this mean change NOW or change in the next 1-2k or 50/50.

I saw one of the posters say never let it get to the warning and that his broke 200 miles away from home. Def don't what that.

Once the belt is changed do I need to reset the computer by unplugging the battery?

Lastly, where can I buy a Fuzzy washer?

Thanks!

I did read the wiki, sorry if repeating.

When you change your belt may depend on your risk tolerance.
I use belt 849090 and to ~10,000 miles between changes.

I may have a Fuzzy washer I can send, just need to verify size:
ID 17mm
OD 30mm
Thickness 1mm

To reset the computer is:

Many thanks

I'd like to make it to spring then go in with belt, rollers and fuzzy.

I'd be happy to compensate you for the washer. Please priv message me your details.

Looks like mine are for the 250cc motor.

Fuzzy Washer Dimensions: OD=36mm, ID=22.05mm, Thick=1mm/3mm
I conversed it to inches: OD=1.42in, ID=0.87in, Thick=0.04in/0.12in

Fuzzy washer
I for one use a 2.5mm washer that I fabricated myself. Not to much slip when giving gas and very little shake at idle.
