Hi everyone, this one is on sale in my countty, Guatemala.
It is being advertised as a “1972 Italian Vespa/200cc”, of course the year is wrong since P line started on 1977.

I am not very familiar with P series but I believed that the tail light was a square one in all models. Could this be an LML or did the early ones had the GS tail light? Also the seat I believe is not the original one, since P came with the bench type one only.

I have written to the seller to take a look at it and try it, but would like to hear your opinions on the early P200s and on the tail light.
Thanks!

They never came with a GS style tail lamp but it could've been retro fitted. The early Euro models had this style, not sure what you would've got but assume the same unless they came from the US importer.

Can't really see clearly but the rear hub appears to be a Cosa item and obviously the paint, switches and seat is wrong. Could easily be a good, solid project and just as easily a complete heap so go with your gut feeling when you see it in person.

Something's not right with the body. No lines and the tunnel curve is weird. Probably too much bondo on it...
