I think (hope Il Ginchi & Gt6MK3 agree) its about time the "Dark Lords" got themselves a "Catch Phrase"... can you help with ideas?

The basis originally of the "Dark Lords" legacy was the FACT that noone seemed to see us arrive ANYWHERE before dark, which was generally due to Speedy* breaking down.
I think it was first used (citation required) on the 1st year of The Australian Classic Scooter Mille (1000km in 2-days)**

So, an appropriate catch phrase is required.

* Speedy is a gender neutral (lump of sculptured steel creating a) scooter, which was named due to having decals of a turtle named "Speedy", plus it was slow.

** Day 1: i cant really remember what happened to cause the delay (Il Ginchi should remember that).
Day 2: we were "rather late" possibly due to a major seize (at a rather fast pace on a downhill slope, then buttoning off), & subsequent roadside rebuild using 120grit sandpaper & a screwdriver to assist with the repair (& yes, even though it sounded more like a tractor that a 2/- it ran for many thousand km afterwards)... then an even later that day the floats in PHBH broke off, causing fuel starvation or flooding whenever there was any bump in the road. I think I nearly cried & ended up in hospital due to pushing it, plus had the fuel up with it running, as there was nil chance of it starting again)
Since then the standard has been upheld, with the exception of 1-day on The Mille when we got Line Honours!

Dark Lords - Slow and steady wins the race. We're working on the steady bit.

Dark Lords - Fashionably Late. Lately fashioning.

Dark Lords - Save us a cold one.

Dark Lords - Seize the moment.

Dark Lords - Faster than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest.

Is it vintage-only, or are there modern bikes, too? If so,

Dark Lords -- In the rear with the gears

Trimming back Pheasant's first suggestion...

Dark Lords -- We're working on it

or, just...

Dark Lords -- We're here. What more do you want?

Dark Lords -- No such thing as second-to-last place

Dark Lords -- We're not last, we're fashionably late

Or just

Dark Lords -- Fashionably Late

Bite your tongue young man!
The only twisties are the long windy roads!
If we were on them, then we would obviously be there on time, every time... just without a smile, nor smelling nicely of grease & 2/-

LOL! Just checking. The distance runs here here have a mix of classes, including twisties. I should have known y'all wouldn't tolerate such heresy Down Under!

Ok,

I love "Seize the moment" Could you say, "Seized the Moment" (looks innocent, but then you see the "ed")

The Australian Classic Scooter Mille HAD a category/award "Most Spectacular Breakdown", but as Dark Lords had a habit to winning it they renamed it "Most Spectacular Breakdown & RECOVERY"... but we are up to the challenge & retain majority!
