I live in Grand Cayman and my wife's scooter needs a new seat cover.

The scoot is a salvage, so I am not sure what it is. The salvage title is from Des Moines Iowa

The Clues:
The title says it is a 2007 GTS 250 ZAPM459L175003274
The inside of the storage has a tag that says ZAPM3130001007460 Engine M315M
The oil dipstick says 1000cc SAE 5W40.

I have been told it is a GTS 125 with a 250 motor in it.

I am trying to source a replacement seat cover. I really don't want to have to replace the whole pan and foam, as it is fine.

I haven't seen anything OEM, or even light colored.

I have included some pictures.

I appreciate anyone that can steer me in the right direction.

take it to any boat place that does boat seats. they should be able to cut and fit you a custom cover reasonable.

Contact Suzy at Cheeky Seats she is great to work with and can make a cover for you in just about any color combination you want. She created a customized seat cover for my GTV and I am very happy with the results.

I wanted to change the seat cover, ended up contacting a local upholstery company and they changed the cover and I also ask to reshape a bit the seat.

Going by the vin / engine numbers and the fact it has 1000cc On dipstick it would be a stock GTS125 .

What is really odd, the GTS125 was never sold in the US, so that salvage title from Des Moines, Iowa might be a fake. Unless someone imported it into the US.

And I agree, Cheeky Seats is awesome.

Suzy is the absolute best - I love my seat cover and her customer service is just out of this world.

Super highly recommended - so many of us have her fine work on our bikes.

I love the company and Suzy was great to work with. If you have a straight bench type seat or plan to add have a seat made with quilting, you’re okay.
My oxblood seat cover for the Vespa Primavera never conformed very well to the original.
I think it is just the way those seats are made. My Cheeky seat always “pillowed” our near the center so it never looked like it was part of the original scooter.

Thanks for all the responses, I did get a cover from Suzy and my wife loves it. no it is not "perfect", yet it fits awesome and is way better than the worn out original.

Hello All,

Not to hop into this conversation but I spotted the comment from Vespurvoa about the fitment issue, or my covers being better if padded.

One suggestion I would offer is that many times people pull the seat cover too tightly from front to back, which exaggerates the "tenting effect" in the middle.

The remedy to this is to ease up, look at the guidelines inside the cover, which should line up with the edge of the seat, and by allowing the seat cover to relax into the driver seating area, it can then be stretched properly on the sides. If it still seems odd, a staple or two on the side to pull the material in would resolve any issue completely.

The cover should have an excellent form fitment, as I make every single cover on an actual seat, identical to the same one the customer has.

I hope that anyone having issue with fitment would contact me so we can help! Our new website will have a better installation video section that I hope will better show how we put the covers on.

Thanks to everyone for your support and Rafa and I absolutely love what we do!!! If you have any questions - please don't hesitate to contact us!

Came on here to chime in with an enthusiastic Cheekyseats recommendation before I saw CheekySuz' post. I've ordered 6 of their covers now. Aside from the front/back advice, don't get impatient if there are some minor fitment waves, etc. on first install. Get it close, don't get too tight in one spot and ride for 100 miles or so. the natural compression, heat cycle etc. seems to alleviate 90% of any fitment issues.

In my opinion there's only one company out there actively considering fabric choices, stitching and can still turn around custom orders in a heartbeat. Put it this way- on every bike where I could buy a used, intact seat vs. a cheekyseat cover to salvage a torn cover, I've gone the Cheekyseat route.

I am not getting paid for this endorsement and, as a sad reflection on my Wednesday night, was completely unsolicited.
