Hi guys. I have a 2007/8 Fuoco which I have owned since new. It has 18000 kms ( about 11000 miles) on it and has been ultra reliable - no issues at all except a failed stator about 5 years ago.
This morning when I went to go to work I noticed that the front suspension, which I had left locked over the past 4 days, was not 'stiff', but 'mushy' and allowed me to lean the scoot about 5-10 degrees either side of upright. When I turned the scoot on it started right away (as usual) but there was a beeping, like a warning, until I manually de-activatred the suspension lock. Once rolling everything seemed normal.
The scoot has always been garaged at night, but I have to leave it hard up against the wall on it's left hand side, so I can't put it on the center stand. I have been doing this for years without incident, except once about 3 years ago after I had been away for about 6 weeks when a similar event happened.
I do most of my own maintenance, but it hasn't had a full dealer service for about 2-2.5 years. I'm not panicking, but any suggestions???
