Hello all,

I am in need of a front plate to my 2008 mp3 500. Is anyone here trying to sell used plates?

Sorry, I meant to type panel, but I believe the correct term is the shield. Mine got cracked through a series of bad luck

For #16 and #33, just glue your existing plastics together with some reinforcing mesh on the back. They are made of ABS plastic and you can use some bits of ABS dissolved in methy ethyl ketone as glue, or buy some "sewer pipe" cement from the local hardware store, and use some stainless steel window screen as reinforcement. There will be a visible line depending on the color of your bike, but it's sure cheaper than the OEM panels.

That's what I did, and instead of painting I covered the whole bike in color-shifting vinyl wrap for a total cost of $65.

Since your Profile information is not filled in, don't know where you are?
A good source for body parts is easyparts.nl
Shipping is fast to the US if your in the USA.
Buy some consumable items to ride along, or some extra body parts for the next "Oops..."

You would have to check their website and see, I don't now why they wouldn't.

I have actually ordered something, 3 days later its here.
They screwed up once, and they said... Just keep it, we will re-ship the right part.

I just had a strong wind blow over my 500 and now I'm in the same boat. I didn't think of a vinyl wrap and you have me intrigued and it sounds much cheaper and simpler of an option.

Would you mind posting pics of your vinyl job on the bike?
