I am planning to replace the windscreen on my new 2019 MP3 Sport I.E. It's the new windscreen with four mounting grommets. I don't know how to undo the grommets and I don't want to force anything.

So, does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks.

Here is a picture. Not my bike, but the same windscreen.

The attachments are hard rubber or plastic. There is no screw in the middle. Without putting too much pressure, they don't turn with a Channellock pliers.

Mystery solved
So I went out with a flashlight to be sure that there is no screw.

No screw.

But then I notice that the opening in the center of the grommet isn't round, it's hexagonal.

Quick turn with an Allen wrench and easy peasy presto chango no problemo.

I have a 3mm allen socket to get the wind shield off, you do not know how often that one is MIA from my tool box.

What is funny is I didn't buy it, the thing showed up in my tool bag at work one day. I don't use metrics wrenches are work, so I took it home and it fit.

I have a complete set that I've had for over 50 years.

One meter from my scooter.
