Hi everyone! I'm looking for help finding a new muffler/exhaust for my Vespa. It's an ET4 150cc, year 2005. I've been searching online but not 100% sure I'm finding the right one. My existing muffler is so rusted I can't see the make and model number. But as far as I know it's the original.

When I search online, the closest match I've found is the "Exhaust SITO Plus" but I've seen reviews from people that are not great and that installation is tricky.

Can anyone offer any help/recommendations? I've never installed parts on my Vespa before but eager to learn.

Thanks!

The SITO plus is a lighter version of the original muffler and goes on like the original muffler does, so it's no trickier than putting the original one back on.
At $200, they are a whopping ten dollars less than the OEM muffler.

Thanks so much for your reply and for the links. I've read other Vespa owners who say that this muffler is slightly off (by 1/4") in fitting it onto the ET4. You're saying it fits without trouble?

Glad to find another Vespa parts dealer in the US!

Exhaust et4
Sito has a very cheap (read plastic) chrome cover, not sure of the fit, so save the metal cover from your old one

When you say other Vespa owners, do you mean one person who posted the same thing on more than one forum?
If it was off by a quarter inch, they wouldn't be able to sell it, because it wouldn't fit. Keep in mind that SITO didn't make just two of these, one for the person who couldn't install it, and the one they are waiting to sell to someone else. They have made thousands over the years, and it's a pipe you see a lot in Europe.

Every time I try to fit my factory muffler to the LX I could swear(I often do swear) it's off by 1/4 inch or more, until it snugs up and then all is well in the world.

There's nothing finer than a stainless steel PM Tuning exhaust.. I still have the one I put on my ET4 that still looks like new and is still strong when ETs were first sold in the UK .. say 15 years ago. Gass silver machine gts 250
