I've always wanted an S150. I like the square headlights and the overall aesthetics of the scooter.

Performance wise, would I see any difference than my current scooter? It is a 150cc. I'm assuming not that much. But just wanted to check with people who have owned both.

The following is from someone here on this forum named caz from back in 2008...

all of the above plus the ET's are 40mm shorter probably due to the 11 inch front wheel. They are 70mm narrower not sure why this may be the chrome mirrors. The ET's from 2001 onwards and the LXs have 151cc, the earlier ETs have 149cc. All ETs have an extra 1.5 to 2 Horse power depending if 149 or 151cc. ET's weigh 5kg less have .4 of a litre more fuel capacity. The seat on the LX is 20mm lower, the headlight is better on the LX, the styling, instrumentation is also different but these are apparent. I think if you can get a low mileage well maintained second hand, of either, in a colour that you like this is the way to go.Great bike, Ride safe.

When I bought my new 2007 LX150, the Vespa Dealer told me that (in their opinion) the ET was the best scooter Vespa ever made.

We have 125s over here, but I have always thought my old ET4-125 was more peppy on acceleration than my 125S. Top speed probably about the same.

My 'S' is a carb version, I have no idea what the fuel injected version is like?

It would be nice to have both

All the more amazing when you consider that the ET4 and LX150/ S150 share an engine and fuel tank. I'm still trying to figure out how they're putting that extra gas in there.
The 5 kg. difference is almost 12 lbs. The biggest difference is that a 2010 or newer S 150 will have fuel injection.
