I have used
city grips
power pores
diablos
avons

pirelli came out with an Angle for scooter tire a year or so ago and they are finally getting them in places that have them in stock

I am ordering my standard 120/70-12's for the front
and the 150/70-14 for rear

Should have them by the end of the month as they are not in stock and expecting them in a couple days, then they ship to me for free as aI selected free ground shipping.

really wanted to try the michelin road 4's for scooters but they don't make the 12" fronts.

I've said many times on here, but I am highly impressed with the Bridgestone Battlax tires. Not the best wet weather tire, but in the dry...hold on because they are very sticky. Wear was not overly impressive either because of their stickiness. Would go through a rear tire in about 5000km or so. They inspired a lot of confidence in my opinion.

I like sticky tires but here in East Tn and riding in the smokies you need a tire that can perform in the rain as well because of the potential pop up showers all the time.

I will give a report when I get them mounted and tested.

Since the acquisition of Metzeler by Pirelli, they have a great technology on wet ground. ..

I changed my front tires on Monday and my rear tire yesterday Charles. They are as I said Michelin City Grips, but I will try the Battlaxes the next time I need new Tires. I am somewhat of a Fare Weather guy anway!

I put this Shinko SR568 on about 1500 miles ago. 150/70-14. It is wearing well and does well in the rain. I probably wouldn't put it on for track day but there are not many twisties here and most of my riding is commuting these days.

While not as sticky as a City Grip I was surprised at how sticky they are. Not too far off. Some complain that they shimmy at high speeds but I have not noticed any. Of course, they may be referring to using them on the front and I have no plans to do that. Pretty good reviews on Amazon and for 50 bucks I'm happy so far.

I've tried the Angels on my 50cc last winter and was very impressed with their grip in cold and wet weather.

They even outperformed my old favourite for 50cc, the Bridgestone ML50. Especially when temperature dropped below 5 degrees C - where the Bridgestones would start sliding a bit when braking hard, the Angels still had plenty of grip.

I did find the steering a bit nervous, but that's allways been a bit of a problem on this 50cc. Switching back and forth between an MP3 and a 50cc with half the weight makes this hard to evaluate, so I'm curious whether the Angels would feel nervous or just responsive on an MP3..

Quite literally

They do not skimp on mold release agent at Pirelli's

Seriously, I had to break in my tyres in wet weather, which wasn't very funny for the first few kilometres.

Those look to be the same tires they are putting on the new MP3. Saw them on one at the dealer a few weeks back. Can't wait to hear your feedback on them once you break them in. What kind of price did you pay for them?

here is my review so far. FRONTS ONLY at this time. rear will come in a bit as I still need to finish off the diablo that on it first.

tires have a bit stiffer sidewall than the city grips or diablos for installing. Same round profile as the diablos. They balanced up very nicely really close to the same weights and location as the diablos I took off.

First few miles just scrubbing nothing real aggressive. About the 15 mile mark I pushed them pretty good thru some corners and they grip really well. Then went on my short twisty test road and go over to the chicken strip edges and they did very well.
I like they profile when you tip in hard into corners. Also like they are a bit more profile than the city grips or power pure. the 120's seem like 130's

All in all highly recommend for grip and handling.

Now we will have to monitor for miles but I believe they will do just fine or better than the city grips, most defiantly will be better than the diablos or power pure.
I like the super sticky of the diablos but boy they don't last that long, also liked the power pures but there again they won't get the mileage like the city grips.

Thanks for the information.

Due to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) - Europe Thing, I can't visit the site.

Maybe I will give them a shot when it comes time to replace my tires in the future.

actually it has to do with the way companies handle your information and if they want to or not. spawned from the Cambridge Anilitica issue with Facebook but started a bit before that.

Here is an example of a European award to satisfy your curiosity

Warning, I do not think this site ships to Germany ...

As I said before, think about looking at Metzeler's side

Sounds good but I cannot find the 150's in stock anywhere. Hopefully, they will be when I am ready for a new one.
