Good Morning everyone

The Lady in red due to my Son abusing her spun the bearings and shes been sitting in my garage going on 2 years now and was debating if I should just sell or get her fixed. I decided to keep her and I need help if you have the parts that I need. I am trying to see if I can save some cash instead of having to buy a whole brand new one. I am looking for DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE SHAFT GEAR AXLE HUB REAR for my Vespa 300 GTS. Its a 2010 300 GTS I want to go to Amerivespa this year if I can get one in time.

Thank you

PM or email me if you have this part.

Thanks in advance

Which part are you talking about? There's no differential on a GTS.

It would be easier to replace the whole motor than to replace the transmission half of the case.

Your pictures are misleading. Looks like you need part #8481875 for $239.45.

Seems to me that broken bit is more of a locating device as opposed to load bearing.
I can see replacing any bearings that are damaged, but that housing, is it really functionally damaged?

Was the broken piece located? Could it be welded back on?

Thank you I think from 1 to 10 (:p

I pretty much copied the information in one of the ebay item unfortunately that seller was honest enough not to sell it to me because he said its not compatible

So we can get more detailed information
My friend who lives in Oklahoma is coming down this weekend and he is going to open it up and will take as many pics and will post them.

That way we can pinpoint exactly what needs replacing.

Thanks everyone for all the responses

Looks like the final drive cover. There are two on eBay right now, search for "vespa gts final drive".

If you have the cover off, it's also a great time to think about doing a final drive up-gear kit.

Or you can go on a chroming spree like I did (yes, even the final drive cover is chromed):

Regarding ebay part
Seller mailed me wrong item I received the engine cover with the water pump. Grrrr we looked at the parts and it was the bearing that holds the gear engine reducer.anyways eBay seller apologize and will mail correct part.

Thank you Jim

I really appreciate it. Anndee was able to get me the link to an ebay part for a decent price unfortunately I have to wait another week to get the correct part. We opened it up and it looks like it was just the bearing that go to the reducer gear I am suspecting it failed due to low gear oil.

Thanks

Retraining Clip
We put everything back and the Vespa was making humming noise when the engine is not engaged. Meaning when it's coasting you can hear the sound. We couldn't figure out where this part goes.
Help thanks
