I was looking for a replacement halogen headlight to put in my new to me 2003 Stella. Itís got the old incandescent light in it and itís downright dangerously dim..

Saw this led taillight and thought it looked interesting and nicer that the giant block px taillight. Turns out these came on the last runs of LML stars before they folded under..

And the kicker, Amazon warehouse deal for $17.00 shipped prime!

Itís pretty good quality too and is super bright. The only thing is they donít come with gaskets so I picked up some automotive door edge trim and slapped it on there.

LED is great but that thing is fugly IMO. Same as the horn cast on later models. They should stick to the original design.

I agree on the horncast that thing was pretty bad.

They say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No offense but personally, I find it ugly and out of place. IMHO, the 2011 Euro PX tail light is way better and follows the lines of the body...

But, youíll probably know what they also say about opinions...

At this price though, it IS a good buy...

"Hit a nerve"? I'm sure you would love that to be true, but it was more of a "wtf is this clown's spazz all about?"
If someone inexplicably has a freakout and calls you an "asshole" when the two previous posts said much worse, you tend to notice and wonder if they stopped taking their meds or something.

So, for the future, you would prefer i say that your taillight is "fucking ugly" rather than ask if that is considered an improvement. Duly noted. It's "fugly".

It's ugly because whomever it was doesn't have one. Beauty or otherwise is in the eye of the beholder.
This falls into the Scottish Gentleman scenario. Can play the bagpipes but chooses not to.
Many people don't know what they do want they just know what they don't want.
I personally think the first one is better than the second so......

I just like the original one. The original one, designed in Pontedera for the original PX.

There are even LED bulbs for it now.

That Amazon brake light seems ok for the Stella as that bike seems to me to be a mix of old and new. Maybe not go so well on a p series though.

Cool find. I would take safety over a beauty contest any day. Glad it's visible and people can see you stopping. I am a daily commuter in an urban environment and being visible to the people behind me is a major concern. Safe riding!
