I was scooting about for shitz n' giggles yesterday and popped into Vespa Toronto West to say hi to Lou and Angie and grab an espresso (so Italian). I took of couple pics of this little beauty which is already spoken for.

Leave it to the Italians to design the sexiest little scoot on the planet. Terrific for downtown running about. The tech looks pretty fab too. Love the blue edge trim. Sexy AF!

They had one on the floor when I was at Vespa Motorsport a couple weeks ago. I love the idea and the look, just don't think I'd be happy with a top speed of 31 mph.

I think that it is geared toward the 50cc crowd.

Yep, the torque is apparently incredible. I can't wait to see what the future holds. At the moment BMW seems to be in the lead but it's great to see Piaggio enter the fray.

Last time I was at Lou's shop someone showed up to pick theirs up and they were pretty excited. I played around with one and the dash and controls are pretty cool.

How is this bike being registered since its electric? For anyone living in T.O we see Chinese limited speed electric scooters everywhere but with an electric motor equivalent to a 50cc is it being registered with GV bike plates? Does that even exist? Or is it just using regular bike plate I dont know how well this scooter will do since most people can just buy an e bike and not have to register or insure it.

$7,499.00 for a 5.4 hp vehicle = $1,389 per hp. From a price per horsepower standpoint, it's ranks right up top of worst value of any vehicle ever.

I don't think anyone can question that logic. I believe anyone purchasing this scoot is doing so for purely "gotta have it" reasons and compounded with it not being a money thing. Just my 2

Exactly - There are a lot of wealthy people in Toronto that to them it really isn't a lot of money. I do OK but no way could I justify that expense for the power. I recently dropped about 5 times that on a Ural but at least I have a Ural at the end of the day.
