Ok... My new problem for my girls S50, it stalls out. I removed pet carrier, and saw a loose screw for the battery cover. Not knowing it was the battery cover, I figured I'd take a look. Found positive cable loose, very loose, which would explain the flickering headlight. Tightened it up, that's fixed. Noticed a loose hose yesterday, it's clear and was just sitting there. Wasn't sure where it went, so closed up battery and left hose. Still stalled out when I was going 40 yesterday. Starts right up too. Opened up again this morning and seems like that house attaches to the battery, so I just attached it there. It's a clear hose, not sure if that's a vacuum line.

I also have another hose off underneath, a black one. Not sure where that goes. I've attached pictures and the hoses run together. The black hose goes straight through the fender into rear of scooter. Does the black hose need to be plugged? I don't see anywhere that it can attach to.

The clear hose is a vent for the battery. It carries gases away from the battery; the far end is not connected to anything nor is it plugged. It would have no effect on stalling.

Not sure about the black hose. Can you get a better picture of it?

Ok, I'll snap a few more pictures. The weird thing is that when it stalls, it doesn't feel like it's from bogging down, it just shuts down, like I used the kill switch. Was researching and someone else had a short in their kill switch that had a similar problem. Was a few years back. Not even sure how to test for that. To me, it does seem to be more electrical than mechanical due to the way it stalls... But I don't know much about this stuff.

Here is black hose. Runs up through battery but inside fender through back of Scoot. Not sure what it attaches to.

I don't remember offhand what it's for -- fuel overflow, evap vent,...but I know that end is not connected to anything either. Note the diagonal cut -- it was never plugged on to anything.

I thought evap system too. I think it's electrical. Going to ride again. It ran for a couple of miles earlier, no issue.

Thatís a drain pipe for your carbs floatbowl.

You can use it drain the carb before removing it, so you donít petrol all over yourself.

If itís stalling out at WOT I would look at the Main Jet, clean it, or it might be happier with a bigger main jet.
Quick to check, and cheap to replace

It doesn't stall all the time. Happened several times yesterday, hot and cold. Today, nothing so far. I'll check the jet. Thanks.

Check the plug wire and cap. Check at the coil and plug cap. If that's good then check some of your electrical connections. To test the kill switch while is running on the stand fiddle with it and see if it cuts out. They are cheap and easy to replace if its bad.
