This past Friday (9/14/2007) I ordered an LX150 exhaust pipe from www.pmtuningusa.com with 2-day shipping. It's Tuesday now, and I still haven't heard from them. (Ya, I know, I'm antsy). So just now I called CMSI Inc. (people in charge of PM USA) and asked about my order status. They said they received my order JUST NOW and that they did NOT have my shipping address for some odd reason....so they couldn't send out the order. WTF? They said the pipe was in stock though. If my order doesn't come by Friday I'm gonna be pissed.

Anyone else have good/bad experiences with www.pmtuningusa.com?

4 stars down. I previously placed an order through their UK site and subsquently followed up with both the U.S and U.K site. Radio silence, no replies. I even faxed them. Net result= crap customer service and feedback. In the end---my web order didn't go through. a waste of time. So for now I'm happy with my sito pipe. Makes you wonder.........Let us know if and when the pipe arrives. best of luck

UPDATE:

so i emailed them again about the status of my order.
they said it shipped on 9/18/2007 using UPS GROUND shipping! those askholes! i paid $76.25 (about $4 MORE than what their site charged) for 2-DAY air...AND THEY SEND IT GROUND!!!?? WTF?! i'm reporting them to PM UK if they don't refund me the difference ASAP.

Tell me that the price on the PM Tuning site is a mistake???? $455.00? For an exhaust????? Is it made of gold or other precious metal????

Do us a favor. Dyno the bike before you put it on, then after. I SERIOUSLY doubt the 2bhp claim on the website.

Good luck with your project...

The exchange rate is killing us over here. I picked up my PM pipe for the ET used for $250, but that was 3 1/2 years ago.

I am waiting for Motorsport Scooter to get the Leo Vince pipe. I wonder how much longer until they are in stock?

oh, you think that's bad?! read this email i just got from them today:

Bryce,

You were not charged 2 day, you were charged $39.85 for ground.
The request for 2 day did not show up on your order therefore it was
shipped
ground. Looks like a glitch in the system that needs to be fixed. As
far as
the price, I looked into it and there was a price increase to $491.00,
but
the online store has not been updated yet so I will adjust your bill
down to
the $455. you were quoted on line.

watch for a credit on your account for $36

Hope that helps answer your questions

PM tuning = Poor management tuning

Looks like an opportunity in the marketplace for aftermarket pipes at good prices offering good timely customer service.

I am not sure I would totally blame PM for this poor service other than the way they pick their distributors. I will get a Leo Vince. I also tried to call and email them for the pipe but I got the same poor service so I never bought a pipe from them.

Decent European-made exhausts cost what they cost.

They look good, they sound good, it's all good!

Firstly a big thanks to everyone who has had good things to say about PM products, for those that have had a bad experience in supply or back up please allow me to explain.

since 9\11 it has become commercially un-viable to obtain product liability cover for the USA on all PM Tuning produced parts
hence we are unable to supply USA customers direct sorry.

we appointed CMSI as our outlet for the USA to provide the necessary insurance cover and technical backup for PM tuning related parts, but things have not gone according to plan as I freely admit and for this I apologise most sincerely
any orders or enquiry's sent to PM Tuning UK were routed to CMSI with as i now understand without joy.

we are currently working to wards resolving the situation by considering alternative options details will be posted at our official PM Tuning UK web site www.pmtuning.co.uk
in the mean time all enquiry's should be sent to info@pmtuning.co.uk I will personally make sure you get a reply

Thank you Paul for your email and your professionalism. You are only as good as your distributors here in the US. Could you possibility set up a relationship with Max over at Motorsport Scooters in Oceanside, CA? They have a good reputation on this board and many of us would love to be able to buy your products from them directly. Good luck in your search and please write back to let us know how it turns out so we can pass the word.

CMSI seemed kind of Mickey Mouse when I called a few months ago. Something about having shipping boxes in the shop and not finding the order until after I called. Whatever. Turns out the dealership (insurance work) didn't order the pipe. Once I bird-dogged them into that, CMSI sat on the order for a few days. Asses and elbows all around. Nice pipe, tho. Worth the wait.
