My GTS 300 was running fine until it stopped all of the sudden. The flashing res light from the anti theft system is now firmly ON.

I think solid light means the immobilizer has not been disabled. So maybe the kill switch is "on" or the key is not recognized (antenna disconnected, etc).

Check to see if the spark plug cap hasnít come loose or fallen off. That stops the bike cold. It has happened to me with my 2010 GTS. I donít recall what the immobilizer light does when that happens though.

Check how many flashes there are before the red LED stays on. Read the immobiliser section of the workshop manual (page 84 onwards) and see which symptom you have. Report back and we might be able to suggest remedies.

Should be on the right handlebar on all bikes and scoots. Red button, flip it on and off.

That is odd. It should of course just flash for a few days.

First things first - is the battery fully charged and reading at least 12.6V at rest? Are the battery terminals tight, and are all fuses reading low resistance? Just eyeballing the fuses isn't good enough...

Battery changed couple of weeks ago, also the voltage regulator.
Will see about the fuses and what is recommended on service manual
Will get back to you all.
Thank you

Hello people, as requested here is the information. Vespa 300GTS is ok, me too.
Turn out the new electric regulator went crazy . Had to be replaced, computer scanner showed 4 code resetting.
All work done.
Best of all is the fact that I was able to find a true Vespa mechanic.
Best to you all
