Looking for anyone with knowledge of the PA common pleas court system and getting a title for a 1965 barn find Vespa I'm rebuilding.
The guy I got it from had it sitting around for 11 years after he picked it up at an estate auction. He never had a title or did anything with it but take it home and put it in his barn.
Apparently, I can file a plea in common court for the judge to grant me title but the paperwork has to be in a particular format and order. The scoot isn't worth getting an attorney for the paperwork so I was hoping to find someone here willing to send me a temp!are of the format the PA court needs.
Thanks.

Get it registered in Vermont first as VT does not require a title for less than 300cc. I think would just need the Bill of Sale.

Search this forum for Vermont registration. Done a lot.

So when I asked the VT DMV how many Vespa's are registered in VT, they said 433, so you are 3 of them!

Me too! It worked flawlessly and then I was able to get a title here in Oregon. I did explain to the DMV clerk that Vermont only titles bikes over 300cc. She looked it up and I paid my cash.
