I left my MP3 in the sun today for 45 minutes in 95 degree heat without covering my seat. I forgot how hot it can get!

Normally, I cover my seat with a Cool Ass reflective cover. It is amazing how much difference it makes. If you haven't tried one, I saw that they are on sale until the end of July in the For Sale/Wanted section.

Drape a rag across the seat. If all you have are paper towels, use them. Soak the rag or paper towels with water, and let sit until dry. The seat will then be cool. This is most effective in dry climates.

A dedicated cover would be easier, but this works if you don't have one handy.
