Hi amongst some other jobs I've just attempted to replace what looks like the original rear shock (1989 TX200) and failed miserably. The replacement shock is nearly new and from a px but when I removed the original its about 3-4 inches longer primarily due to the rod length at the top after the spring. Anybody else succeeded in swapping this unit over?

Thanks in advance AL

I was just gonna tell you about those extension connectors in various lengths, but no waste of time. Did not know of TX200 and now I do. Thanks!

Very nice, Spanish MotoVespa T5 but w/ a P200 motor. How about a pic of yours?

I like the (Spanish Motovespa) TX200 - T5 looks with PX200 engine.

Here's mine the paint was in fairly good order when I bought it so I've only changed the seat, barrell/piston/exhaust & added the rack for now. I think I was 17 when T5's first came out always wanted one and finally got round to it. Possibly due to old age now but the p200 engine combo seemed more appealing now than the 'magic' 125 good to have a 2 stroke again anyway

There's also the GS200 as well...same exact scooter as the TX, just different letters. From what I understand, they were for the Belgium and German market.

Haha, it's 7.45pm here and I've already had a couple of nice beers, so apologies for the pedantic grouchiness
