I bought this simple 6v regulator but I'm not completely confident how I'm supposed to add it into the system. If I where to add the one wire with the circuit I'm trying to regulate I cannot just simply add at the junction box because then there's no separation between the connection. Do I connect one wire from stator and the other to the circuit I'm regulating? Thanks

I would guess the black wire is a ground. The yellow wire is likely inserted into the circuit.

You could solder on a length of wire to a circle connector and then join at the junction box. Another option would be to create a "Y" from the yellow wire and then insert anywhere in the chosen circuit.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but to hook this up, connect both the input and output wires to the yellow wire and ground the black wire. I'm use to regulators that have separate wires for input and output.

Treatland sells a similar version. https://www.treatland.tv/6-volt-30w-voltage-regulator-with-black-and-yellow-p/6v-30w-regulator-with-wires.htm

Good luck!

Rowdys correct, pemkt too. Snip that plastic connector off and just add the yellow wire in at the junction box to whatever circuit you want regulated. Black gets grounded to the frame.
