Finally sold the scoot as I havenít ridden for over 2 years due to health.

Just like to thank everyone whoíve helped me on here with any questions I had. And Iíve met some great people over the years!

Take care out there, and whatever you do, make sure you enjoy it.

All the best,
Mike

Hey Mike, sorry to hear you've had to let the scooter go, I hope the health issues aren't too serious.

Please stick around MV, you will no doubt have accumulated a wealth of knowledge whilst being a Vespa owner, knowledge which you will be able to share to help other users.

On top of that, you have a unique avatar that I love to see whenever you post

In the fine print when you registered there is a clause which states "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave MV".

Sorry to see you go! Stick around for comic relief at least. But I know how painful it is hearing people converse about fun stuff you can't do anymore.

But if you can ride at all- and need something a little more manageable, there are options... we set up locals here with disabilities with smaller bikes, bikes with wheel supports etc., and do what we can.

Best of luck in any case.

+1, what the heck is that? Pretty sure I know what it's not.

Getting older is not for wusses and riding takes a certain amount of strength, balance and quick wits. You gotta know when it's no longer a good idea. I'm losing ground on all three, I still ride but the rides are getting shorter.

Did you steer the new scooter owner to MV, hmmmm?

Re health: 2 emergency operations on my back fucked things up October 2017, now whenever I go out I need to use a wheelchair. Donít like talking about it much because everyone has shit going on in their lives, one way or another so I crack on.
