I just finished my taxes....

In a couple of weeks I should be adding a Euro tail light and front SS crash bars to my GT! I'd do more but I suppose I should let my wife have some of it.
It's not much but it'll be fun!

Spend that tax return! After working for THE MAN all year, you need to get something for yourself!

Aye. Mitax return is stayin' out of jail.

Splendid! It'll probably only cost me several hundred dollars.

What am I going to spend it on?

Dude, I did my taxes Feb. 1, with TurboTax and filed electronically. That money is long gone!

Bought some home improvement goodies. No scooter stuff this year.

Not such a big return this year but we'll be taking our boys 7 and 5 down to see the mouse in the south this fall. I've already bought too many bits and bobs for the scooter. I'm ready for the warm weather.

Being self-employed, I pay quarterly based on what I made last year. This year I made more than last year. Great, right? Well, I have to pay a few thousand, plus pay more quarterly, plus put away money in my IRA. I should really SELL a scooter, but luckily I'm a good money manager and socked away a lot of it knowing the tax man or woman would come a-knocking.

I think I have all the accessories I need for now.

I'm no accountant, but if you're getting a big refund, you are having too much deducted from your paycheck! I know I know I know I know, some of you with no discipline use it as a "savings" account, like sitting on money in Monopoly, giving the government your money like a free loan. On behalf of the government, thank you!

Seriously though, enjoy your accessories.

Well, Lisa, I thought I was going to end up owing this year, but because we had two houses mortgaged for the first five months of '05, we paid alot of interest.

No, I'm not one of those. I tweek the taxes to have a minimal return every year, just so I don't have to come up with a check every April. This year it was a couple hundred back from the state and a little more than that from the feds. Considering the way my wife and my income changed I guessed pretty well this year. Taxes are a horrible savings acount. But I do know people who do that every year.

But that's why I consider it a windfall every year. IF I don't have any debt I want to knock off. I spend it on toys (aka accessories this year)

I'm only dreaming about all the accessories I could have gotten with all the money I'm giving to the government instead!

I'm actually thinking of importing a Vespa PX 200 from Sweden, so the tax return is already spent in a way.

Will most likely put wooden floors in the house and use some to redo my garage.
It will have a Audi and Vespa theme!

Already spent it on my Fly 150 and with the left over money a cruise to the caribbean with my wife. That was one hell of a return this year.

For the second year in a row, I also have to pay Uncle Sam. My company mistyped my allowable deductions and not enough tax was taken from my paychecks. I will now pay closer attention to them. hehehe. But I did just sell one of my GT's, so I may get some accessories for my daily rider. Bear.

If I get anything at all back this year (unlikely), it will hopefully offset the [extremely reasonable] cost of my divorce.
