Hey all,

So all of a sudden all my turn signals have stopped working as well as the light on the (dash).

I am thinking that this is possibly a fuse issue, any idea where the fuses are located, is it under the seat or down on the right handside on the footwell?

Or maybe its not the fuses??

If just the turn signals and their tally, then a common MP3 fault especially on earlier models, was for the permanent +12V feed to the turn signal relay to corrode at the connection, with the pin eventually just crumbling. Luckily the 'unused' pin above it is connected internally to the same circuit - so the side of the connector can be cut away and the solid blue wire can be soldered directly onto it. That should then remain good for the life of the bike, especially if covered in dielectric grease.

Now just remind me where that is located? I don't have the manual

On the 500, the relay is at the left-hand rear, right where muck gets chucked up by the rear wheel (which doesn't help corrosion). I do not know if it's the same on the 250 - but I think this is it, from page 60 of the workshop manual.

Actually after further looking its actually the turn signals and the headlight not operating. The full beam comes on but the standard headlight is not working. I will have a look first at switched on the handlebars

Ah - in that case look at the circuit diagram carefully - you should find the fuse that's gone PHUT.

Try fuse 11 - I bet your horn doesn't work when the tilt-lock is faulty, and maybe the tilt-lock itself anyway.

You now have to work out which bit took the fuse out.

Swapped out fuse 4 and wouldnt you know it working again.

Now the front right headlamp is on full beam at all time, WHEN WILL IT END!!! lol
