Hi all,
I'm brand new here and to Vespa ownership. I just bought a 2006 LX 150 in ehhh condition as a fun project. First step is re-attaching the fuel lines and air box. The previous owner had cut the fuel lines to attach an auxiliary,, external fuel tank. Can anyone tell me where I'd find a drawing or diagram to help?
Thanks,
Bil

I would hope not. If it was, I should like to think the seller would disclose the highly stressed condition getting flogged mercilessly for thousands of miles.

I believe that should be a simple two line system. The fuel line runs from the upper port on the fuel tap to the fuel inlet on the carburetor. And the vacuum line runs from the lower port on the fuel tap to the vacuum port on the intake manifold. I recommend using ethanol resistant clear fuel lines. That way it's very easy to determine that the fuel line is full of the fuel, and the vacuum line isn't. I'm wondering if possibly the aux tank was installed due to a faulty fuel tap. It's a cheap part, and should be replaced before refilling the tank.
