Excited to be part of the Vespa community as I surprised my wife with a 2005 GT200 in Vintage Verde last weekend. Such a fun scoot!

Itís in great shape and was recently tuned up, but itís been tipped and Iíd really like to replace both steel side body panels. Looked all over online and canít seem to find them. Any ideas?

If they are too expensive, might be better to just have the dents repaired and repair the panels.

Thanks!

Hi! Welcome to the forum from Rochester, NY. Unfortunately I don't know much about body panels but I'm sure someone here will.
I 'dropped' my scooter last year and put stickers over the scrapes.

You cannot replace the side panels. They are an integral part of the monocoque frame which gives the GTS it's strength. You could try and get a body repair specialist to pull the dents or fill them if that is not possible.

As said, you cannot replace the body side panels at the rear. These can be repaired fully however and it'll be like new. Photo's would help but it may be possible to get the dents pulled out by a paintless repair firm. It's quite easy and it'll again look like new. But the dents have to be of a particular type and shape for this to be practical. Sometimes it has to be a body shop who can pull and then paint the panels. It could be worth it.

Main thing is no creases. If no crease and not to big a paintless dent repair place may be able to fix it.
