That IS cool, thank you, Sir.
Yeah, but only for long reach 200 and LML motors, no?
This might work, but may benefit from a modest counterbore in the existing spark plug hole.
It is 14mm.

There's a $400 1980 100 that just went up on Facebook marketplace. It's in Raymond, WA.

Seller's Description
Cute little scooter, hasn't been run in some time, but turns over. Took as payment on loan years ago. Key but no title. Selling for a friend.
It's got some rust and more miles than that, but a nice new real Piaggio looking speedometer mounted AND a $100+ battery door!!! Get a pic of the floor from the bottom and if that's OK, just buy the damn thing. As mentioned, it IS really cute!

And we have some useful progress at last, the local UPS had no bike boxes, but they were good ppl and reached out to the UPS a couple of towns away and managed to round those up for me today. I started to feel stupid for bringing the VW Golf, but my old truck is cold and damp so I thought I'd chance it. They JUST fit w/ rear seats down, front seats forward and me hugging the steering wheel. So I started seeing how it would fit and it looks good.

CRAIG, ol' buddy. decide on the seat! This seat frame is bolted on now and the ultra rare gas tank as well. Still room for other stuff, but best HURRY coz this leaves here NEXT WEEK sure!

checking for size

Yep, looks good - make that cut, pull the trigger!

IMG_20200215_191720349.jpg
I'll mount the frame to the rigid insulboard, add padding front & back and block it trapped down.

IMG_20200215_192101802.jpg
I will cut the 2nd box same and graft it on from this side, wrapping around all four corners double, and strengthening the ends considerably
lots of room behind leggy & in motor cavity for more stuff

Better hurry! Just awaiting documents and then close it up with tape so easy to inspect.

IMG_20200217_210635_01.jpg
spray glued lap joints, and a stiff cardboard tube goes glued tite into that floor gap
the side gap closes up when the lid is closed

IMG_20200217_210842_01.jpg
Good fit w/ room for padding and I'll add some foam blocking to keep it from rattling around
the bottom is pretty strong and rigid

so if each box is certified good for 95 pounds, can we load up w/ more random goodies grand totaling 190 pounds?

Good question....

I believe it's probably drams, but could be moles or kilograms.
I found the Official Australian Conversion Chart somewhat confusing.
Probably just confusing for us Yanks.

All done and I wanna get those documents from shipping company so I can put them inside as required and tape it shut and get it outa my SIGHT!

Not really that bad, I have actually become attached to my boxy creation in a weird sort of way and may even miss it a little. But not really much, A POX on this damned box, be GONE now!!!!

Insert documents, tape flap, ship - simple!
