Hey folks...I have 1981 P200, with Malossi kit. It started first kick when I bought it, then I had money problems, and it sat for a while. All that it needed was brakes. I took it out, added some oil, and it started after 7 or 8 kicks. I rode around the block for a few minutes and all was fine. Until I got back to my driveway. There was a big splotch of oil that shot out of the exhaust when I started it. Also, a few months ago, I found it a little tipped, and oil leaked out of it, thatís why I filled the oil. Could I have overfilled it, or because it was almost on its side for a while. It ran fantastic, and when I kicked it over a few more times, no more oil showed up at all.
Thanks

Is it possible that the petcock was left on ? Oily fuel could have been flowing through your carb and when the crankcase became full,it leaked into the exhaust port. An then into the exhaust where it sat until you tried to start it .
