Thinking about trading in my old 09 mp3 500 for a new one, at 25000 miles and quite beat up, know little to almost no trade in but what would be a fair price to offer for a new 2019 with no trade in just cash. sanogeo.

If you are wanting a new one, you should just look for the 2020 with the new HPE. Try to do some detective work and find out what the dealer pays for it and offer their invoice cost plus $250. Dealerships actually prefer people who finance most of the time instead of a straight cash deal from my experience.

Vespa Motorsport in San Diego has the new 2020 MP3 500hpe Sport in stock for $9195 IIRC. This is the first model year of the real deal hpe in the US, not the fake rebranded 500ie ones Piaggio tried to pass off as hpe models

Maybe you should see if they'll bite at say 8400, or 8K even with the trade.

Considering the MP3 is definitely not a hot seller in the US, you may just get lucky.

Too bad the US spec models still ship with the old style incandescent flashers vs. the LED type the Euro spec models get. But I guess that's just Washington screwing up as usual, with DOT's obsolete lighting laws that seem like we're still living somewhere between the end of WW2 and the birth of rock and roll.

Thats because of the commission for getting the finance. When i worked in a dealers they made more on the finance commission than was made on the bike.

I replaced the flasher bulbs with LEDs. It's very easy - just make sure they aren't too long to fit. They will also flash faster, which I have come to see as an advantage - they seem more urgent.

These are the ones I got: iBrightstar Newest 9-30V Super Bright Low Power 7507 PY21W BAU15S 2641A LED Bulbs with Projector replacement for Turn Signal Lights,Amber Yellow

They just fit and they are super bright!
