Wow - sweet ride. LED headlight in custom plate, matching windscreen, silver booties, and my favorite, hand guards! They are all sweet looking rides. Very nice Whodat!, very nice indeed....

I've had a couple of Rallys, but I've never felt the love. Cool bikes for sure. You can't ride 'em all.

Thank you! Itís a PX215, and it has even more even red now. I got some red rims, red turn signals covers (both front and rear), and some black and red mud flaps. I would like to find a red Yankee seat for it too. My sister has a set of red motorcycle leathers that might fit me. If so Iím going to take some glamour shots of myself...or better yet, take pics of my sister posing on the red PX while wearing her red leathers.

in a fair and just effort to pare down the bullshittery of my *ahem* "collection" *ahem* i just parted ways with a few pieces.

adiosing a lovely sprint veloce in OG paint, which a long time client of mine picked up and i knew that it was going to a good home and i wasn't getting to any time in the near future.

i also blasted off a lammy project that was mostly 150 and some 125/175 bits but was all there and "just needed assembly" in that industry parlance. i have enough lambrettas and headaches. i'm good there.

practically gave away most of a GTS250 that needed... well, more than i was willing to give to it. and then sweetened the pot with a totally wrecked out ET4 that was already a clapped out shitbox before being taco'd into the back of a prius. and then was able to throw most of an elite 80 into the back of the truck despite the new owners protest. in for a penny, in for a pound when you come to my house of wares.

however, i'm still a ways off and gotta lose a few more. so if anybody is looking for a collection of parts that could basically make most of a vbb (choose your own adventure on the motor, i've got plenty!), a somewhat unmolested super in mustard color on 8's, a rally that's all there but kinda sorta taken apart (not by me), a P2 that's uhhh... questionable, or another P2 that's got a cut up racer boy frame, or a complete SX150 that's got paint and AAAALLLLLLL the bits to knock together...

um... hit me up?

Scooter-wise, last year I bartered away a 1979 P200E that needed extensive rehab to get going again. I got it from my Granddad, but I'm not savvy or patient enough to ever commit to the project, so I bartered it to my aircraft mechanic for an annual inspection on my little plane. He has since brought it back to life, which has been a fun process to watch. I have zero regrets - I'd never have gotten it going.

Parting ways
Well I did part ways, with what I called my Viet cong special. Put 2000 miles on it with no issues. I did remove the engine, fuel tank, and front end. Replaced a few items nothing major. Road it like I stole it. Still rolling strong today.

My first Vespa, a 2010 GTS 300.

When I've rehabbed the GT200, and after a Spring trip on the S'Wing in 2020, both of them will go to better homes and I'll be looking for a late model GTS 300.

Sold both of these a little while ago -- Allstate with a Gickspeed 180 and a Rally that was pretty much bone-stock but for the pipe. Both tuned to perfection, first-kick runners. I regret both sales everyday, and check back periodically hoping they come up for sale somewhere. Yes, I have reached out to both buyers, and no, neither one has responded. Sigh.

A Yamaha xt150cc and damn glad to see it go with all known faults now see it up for grabs again by new owner. Certainly cured me of wanting more projects ( or is it an addiction ) at present. 😊

It was just time to try something new. Had it since 2012 and had the itch. Too many cool bikes to try out to keep them forever.
