Has anyone added the single rider seat to their Vespa? It comes standard on the Sei Giorni. I find it really comfortable over the stock seat on my BV350 and MP3 500

Web-Tech: Are you saying that this seat fits on a BV-350?

No, it is just so comfortable for a stock seat. The stock MP3 seat is like sitting on a log and the BV350 seat isn't much better.

I replaced the stock seat on my Supertech with the the Sei Giorni seat. I did it originally for the aesthetic but I found that it is also more comfortable than the stock seat. I was tempted by the solo gel seat but luckily the Sei Giorni turned out to be a split between aesthetics and comfort.

Is it really an inch shorter than the current GTS 300 seats? I can get the balls of my feet on the ground but would like a smidge more and I loathe the tan stock seat.

Why do I snicker every time someone refers to...
…"the balls of my feet?"

(Yes, surprisingly juvenile of me, won't do it again.)

Anyway…my local dealer has the Sei Giorni seat on display as an option, and I've been hemming-and-hawing over getting it. The nice thing is that you don't need to jettison the stock saddle, as you can conveniently go back-and-forth between saddles as you wish. (Not a small deal for me, since I'm pretty sure my Nelson-Rigg Seat Bag will work ideally with the stock seat.) I find the stock seat decent, but not quite ideal (now having sat in it for close to 100 miles at a stretch).

I find the stock seat a bit wide and presses into my thighs weirdly (yes, more joke fodder for you!) and just seemed to hurt my back. I know it needs breaking in but my brand new Sei Giorni was comfortable immediately. And the new seat was an easy two screws to take off and put back on again, probably took me all of a couple of minutes to do by myself. Have the old seat protected and secured where it won't get damaged just in case.

I've added the Piaggio sport seat, which is very similar https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/sport+seat+piaggio+for+vespa+_pi605677
