I picked up a 2007 LX 50 that did not run, replaced the battery and got it running but it would not go over 25MPH, Replaced the fuel pick up and spark plug , purchased a new carb. starts and idles fine but when I open the throttle, it dies. I have checked the spark, looks good, checked the fuel supply, good. Where do I go next?
My LX 50 is a four stroke ,2007. My problem is something new and I have checked the spark, air intake, fuel supply and think it may be the CID. After reading about other ones with a similar problem, would a bad CID cause my problem?
on the center stand it will come up to to maybe 3000 rpm and then drop off, will go back to idle and do the same again. I have checked the chock and that is moving and pumped the throttle to see if it was gas supply but no change. I think it is electrical, has good spark when I test the plug. Where is the best place to buy a new plug in ICU or what ever they call it for the spark Timing?
