Tomorrow I move back from scooter to motorbike - specifically from 2014 GTS300 to 2018 BMW G310R. I've had many BMs in the past but had given up on them as too heavy for me nowadays. However, the 310 is a whole 500 grams heavier than the Vespa so here we go again. As ever, I've enjoyed scootering again but am now looking forward to lightweight biking round our wonderful south west lanes. Cheerio everyone, thanks for having me on here. Ron.

You do know you don't have to go? This is more than just a scooter forum... a LOT of us also have motorbikes and TBH a lot of us don't have a scooter at all. We'd love to have you stick around but I do get a little surprised by how many say they're back on a "motorbike" so goodbye. Odds are if you have problems with that motorbike you'll get more help here than the motorbike forum if one exists for your model at all.

Scootering IS motorbiking. I have a "real" motorcycle (1000 pounds) , a 6500CC step-through motorcycle (650 pounds and the best way to put a C650GT) and a Vespa.

Hope to see you around.

The same goes for my wheel colleagues, what has value is passion ... with what you practice it is only a means.
