Hi I have a fuoco 500,parked it up 12 months ago, decided to put it back on the Road.Fitted a new battery, checked all fuses including the hidden one the problem I have is the bike is dead, nothing works except the flashing immobiliser dash light ,auto helmet compartment light ,seat and petrol tank unlock on key fob, anybody point me I the right direction what to look for thanks in advance Stuart.
When you turn the key do all the red warning lights go on, and the shut off except for the oil pressure warning? If they do, when you pull either brake lever do your brake lights work normally? If they do, when you push the start button do the lights in the tail lights dim some? If they do not, then I would suggest you get a can of spray contact cleaner and squirt it (key off!) around the emergency stop switch, rocking the switch on and off a lot. Make sure you put a rag under the switch because that cleaner will drip all over. Do the same thing with the start button.
Hi nothing at all turns on except the imobiliser light which flashes ,no lights no dash lights nothing works cheers Stu
Nothing at all? No tail lights, no horn? If one of those works but not the other, then you may have a faulty ignition switch - assuming *all* fuses are tested (not just looked at) to be intact and making good contact. Note the fuses by the right foot are notorious for having corroded connections.
