I added a Scooter West / Admore Lighting top case light set to my wifeís 2012ís top case and really liked the increased visibility. Older Vespa top cases had the reflectors on them that made it easy to hide the added LEDs; newer Vespa cases donít have them. This is what I came up with and at a fraction of the cost.

Some observations; the lightís wiring comes out of the end of the light. I removed material approximately a square centimeter in size from the bottom wire end of the bar so I could bend the cord to pass through a hole under the end of the bar. Thus hiding the wiring hole. Once mounted I filled in the divot that was left with silicone. The lightís wires are very fine, 28 gauge I think. I painted mine to blend in but after the fact I think it would have been fine. The price is such that Iíve ordered a couple extra to keep as spares.

Good tip! And the eBay tip too...I can wait a few weeks for the parts to arrive.

Nice!

How did you wire it in? I guess you had to splice into the wiring harness? Or is there a reversible way to use an unused connector, or something like that?
