Hi all. I have a 2017 Vespa PX125 and been riding it everyday thru the busy traffic in Tokyo. It's a great scooter and since then been loving it more and more to the point that I want to get a different one. Now I'm looking at a 150 Sprint (different looking light, 4 stroke, automatic....)

I'm perfectly happy with getting a Sprint in any colors BUT recently I ran into this store that is selling a 2nd hand "adventure" series. Anyone knows anything about it? Besides the fact that it comes with all the carriers, frt screen and matte black rims and triming? The store is asking for a premium for it since there is only 50 of them that ever made it to Japan.
Question is.... is it worth paying that extra (US$1000+) for a 2017 limited model that has 1100km on it OR save that $1000 and buy another 2nd hand 2017 regular looking sprint with similar mileage on it??

Anyone owns one of these limited versions?

No clue, don't own one but I'd ask myself what the most exciting aspect is of this bike. It's it that is a collector's or limited edition? How might these things translate into potential problems down the road (reselling it, parts, etc.) You had me at military green!! If you get it or see it take pictures!! Good luck!

Most exciting would prob be the matte green paint job and the matte black that surrounds it. Most NOT exciting would be crashing/dropping it as there's no paint shop that could get it back to matching color.

Not a 946 kindda collector but just 50 limited in Japan, Malaysia and some other Asian countries from my research. Came in 2 diff types: desert sand and military green color.

Agreed - even without a matte finish, olive drab green with blacked out trim and wheels looks terrific!

Cute.
The funny thought is that the japanese like italian design and the italians like japanese design (me first)...what a curious thing.

Over here in the United States we have the "Touring" line. Its a little different twist to the standard line. They come equipped with the front and rear racks, larger tires, ABS, USB and extras. I think I remember it was supposedly $800 of extras already equipped. Thats neat to see its called Adventure elsewhere.

Anyways, should you get it? Yes! Treat yourself and enjoy

I agree ... take it, if you don't like it then sell it; sometimes a little happiness passes from a purchase made with instinct.

The OP has shown concern about $ and minor drops. So I would trade the racks for the crash bars. I say, buy the cheaper bike and get the crash bars. Also a mid screen might work better than the one in the pics. Riding in the rain is better with the best screen that fits you.

Great colour, if having that colour makes you happier than the extra cost buy it.

Color
I got a 2018 model BV, which did NOT come in gorgeous, sexy, military green. I got the white. -Fine. But then I saw the gorgeous green on the 2019 models and raged with lust. So I got a vinyl wrap in a very similar color to what you're showing here, OP. Maybe see what that would run you, if you have other concerns about buying this scoot, but love love love that color. I love love love the green, but it's my favorite color. And if I grow to hate it, (I won't) I can remove the wrap and then just have the white or another wrap color applied. Cheers, good luck, and keep the sexy posts coming.
