Does anyone know where I can buy a front caliper complete or a rebuild kit for my scooter?? Parts are abolished from manufacture.

I moved this from the For Sale/Wanted section so people can reply easily.

You might find it is a common piaggio brake caliper. Have you got a picture?

Try Racing Planet.com. They have a bunch of brake parts that are scooter specific and a bunch of general brake parts. Measure and replace.

Hmm. Yes it does seem as though the part has been discontinued. I would call AF1Racing.com and see what advice they have - I believe they are the largest Aprilia dealer in the country.

Looks like the typical “Grimeca” caliper they used on earlier years. Probably it’s one of these two. Difference between them is the banjo thread (10mm x 1mm vs 10mm x 1,25mm)...

SIP says this is the correct caliper gr362403, and it looks like it would fit, if they are showing the photo of the actual part. but it doesn't take the same brake pads as the caliper that Malossi says is on the Mojito, Malossi 6215014, and in the parts fiche for the Mojity, they do look like the pads Malossi says fit, but if you look at the parts fiche for the Aprilia Scarabeo 100, which uses the same caliper, the pads look like the same ones that will fit the caliper SIP says fits. So you might get something that doesn't fit. After Piaggio took over Aprilia, they changed out a lot of things, including some of the calipers. If you post a photo of the front pads, that will make it a lot easier to figure out if GR362403 is the correct caliper.

I would also suggest AF1. And try Extreme Power Sports in Accident, MD.

Both seem to be capable Aprilia parts departments.

As a fellow Mojito 150 owner, I request that you share your results. Never know who might need this info. Perhaps me!
