Here's the location of the Manuals.
I have changed before on the MP3/250, the difficulty is getting all the Body Panels off to get to it. Installing the New Pump, not that hard.

Keith,I am echoing Mike in needing help.

Winston-my 2007 MP3 250- cranked over beautifully-as usual-this morning but no response from engine. Plug 'dry'.
Pulled the plug-big fat spark, removed top left relay, checked ok ( also swapped to be sure). Still dead motor. Can't see any leaks around fuel lines. Suspect the fuel pump. Are there any other checks I should do prior to strewing plastic everywhere?
I was hoping to order a pump-if required-prior to removing the suspect one but note that during 2007 pumps came in 1 & 2 hose variations. Is this important- and any recommendations on 'after market' pumps.

As per the Service ManualI page 311 the part No: for 'Item 7 is #004073 is this relevant?
Thanks.

There was a recall on many of the '07 - '09 250s regarding the fuel pump. It would be worth checking to see if your bike is covered and/or if the replacement had already been done. Any dealer can tell you if you give them your VIN number.

If you can hear the fuel pump 'whirr' for a couple of seconds upon first switch-on, then you know the fuel pump is working. If you can't, and the 'injection loads relay' is working (a multimeter or test light will tell you) then a new fuel pump is the answer. But check your VIN for the recall!

Thank you fellow enthusiasts,

Electrics check out ok, but no 'whirr'. Will see if agents have any info re years and recall. But I'm not holding my breath.
Next is availability and price

Ciao.
