The new Newfren shoes come with tapered leading and trailing edges. I had to dress the ones on the 64 with a file to taper the square edges.

Saw the Pinasco brand tapered rollers a while back, but I see Polini also do a version which are a bit cheaper than the others. I might give them a go.

A quick update on her progress. Body work being finished. New early style horncast installed, battery panel removed to accommodate new exhaust and left side door pivots fabricated and opening for intake manifold enlarged. Will go for paint in early January.

Chassis in primer now. Painter should have color on this week. Then it can get back to Madison from Indy and I can start assembly.
