Klaviator, a rare contributor here, but huge on another forum, put together a ride in Maggie Valley last year that attracted me and five or six other riders.

This year, with so many events canceled, the BTH attracted over 30.

The rides have been hampered a bit by the weather, but the roads in the area are nothing less than great for scooters.

I brought my wife, Sarah. We drove up (blasphemy for me) in my truck with two scooters, one in the truck bed, the other on a new hitch carrier.

With the virus at a new high, we have unfortunately kept at a distance, but still enjoyed the rides and friendships.

On a curve. We saw lots of them.

Leading a group, poorly, on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Maggie Valley.

Off the Parkway. Still great roads.
