I am finally going to take my ET4 out of hibernation this weekend and am super-excited!!!

On my list of to dos:

-reinstall battery (positive terminal first. is this correct?)
-clean scooter (it be dusty)
-tire pressure
-visual inspection for cracks, loose bolts and critters

I put gas stabilizer in, is it okay to run that gas through the engine?

I changed the oil and tranny fluid before storing, should I change them again?

Am I missing anything else?

Any help/suggestions are much appreciated!

I think the oil should be changed. Oil actually breaks down in the oil pan faster than if used (at least for cars it does.) I know I would change the oil.

I would also give all the hoses, wires and clamps a check. I found out that part of the reason (or all of the reason) that my GT was running like a bag 'o bones was a loose spark plug wire.

I kept my GT 'in service' all winter (short trips at least once a month) and have been commuting to work daily for a week. It's a very cold 25 km at 5:30 am, but quite pleasant heading back in the afternoon. Today I might end up pretty wet, though - heavy showers and thunderstorms in the forecast.

You're going to feel GREAT once you get back out on the road!
