Blucati,
I use loc tite on the metal to metal seal - though I suppose Honda-bond/moto-seal/yama-bond, etc. would all also work.

If it is leaking and you have already assembled the motor - I have a bodge fix for it that worked really well for me - here: http://modernvespa.com/forum/topic163570.16

Gotta use a quality sealer like the above noted.
Saved me splitting the cases.
Cost me about $5.00 in materials.
Took about 45 min.
Was solid.

I know this doesn't directly answer your question, but when I rebuilt my VBC engine, I used the DRT adapters to [hopefully] safeguard against future oil seal and air leak issues. I didn't use any Loctite or similar, due to the fit being very tight. If you do end up splitting the cases, they are worth bearing in mind. For an emergency fix, CM is your man!!
