hello mates, I experienced no ignition on the way home, nothing happens when I push ignition switch.. but when I played with the kill switch it worked. it seems my kill switch is going bad and there's no stock here. need to bypass it for the meantime so I can go to work.

No problem, you may simply short it.

Take the switch out, there will be two wires going into it.
Tie these two wires together so they have good solid electrical contact.

Use a paperclip. Wrap some tape around the whole thing to keep the terminals from sliding off the paperclip.

a paperclip will burn out

a new switch is only 8 bucks and sold on Aliexpress for less

most vespa and piaggio models use the same one

What on earth makes you think that? There's bugger-all current going through the kill switch, it's just a voltage signal into the ECU (or the dash for the engine off).

On the 400, there are three wires.

You need to join the Green/Black to the Grey/Green, and leave the Orange/Blue open circuit (not connected to anything but unable to short out to anything).

Just a question. Don't most kill switches switch to ground? So shorting the wires at the switch will have the opposite effect.
Just so we know.

They vary between all models and years. Some have four wires to them, some have three (like this one according to its circuit diagram) and some merely two.

They all work in different ways, depending if they're carb'd, fuel injected, US spec or EU or Indian/Vietnamese.

Old-school 2-stroke machines killed the engine by shorting the CDI signal to ground. Modern FI 4T ones just 'instruct' the ECU to kill the engine - in a fail-safe way.

OK just so the OP can test his paper clip before reassembly.

I didn't find a wiring diagram without joining or login in or,or,or.

Yes one Primavera wiring diagram says one wire the USA 3v version says 2 wires.

Just for the record anyone reading this who has a Primavera 4T there is only one wire going to the switch and it is grounded to stop. "Run" is open circuit.
That is SO completely different to an MP3 400 that I have no clue why you are posting *your* experience.

Did you look at the MP3 400 circuit diagram to see it it was similar to yours? No? In which case WTF have you suggested your kill switch wiring is in any way similar?

Sheesh.

Just wishing to clarify. Not everyone on here knows butkis about which they talk.

It is a forum not an outlet for your superiority, Sheesh

I noticed you didn't post a picture of said wiring diagram that i already explained i cannot easily download.

Are you the only one responsible for keeping these amazing manuals online and accessible? Serious question, I'm new here.

I'm missing loads of manuals for the scooters that came out in the last few years - so anyone who has one that's missing in pdf form, please feel free to email it to me. No restriction on size. (though there might be a limit in the chain at about 4TB)

The kill switch is a safety feature and I would be very reluctant to bypass except for a short period of time while a new one is being procured.

Also, here in VT and I suspect elsewhere in the USA, that switch is tested during yearly inspection, so the scoot would not pass with it not working.

Never had anyone test my kill switch during inspection.

Here in Texas, the inspection is:

Drive up to the yellow line and stop. Blow the horn. Done, pay your $7.

You should have seen the inspector jump when the Stebel horn went off
