Hi!

I have a friend that wants to buy a used scooter no older than 5 years that is a 150 (e.g. sprint, primavera, etc) in Cincinnati or Florida. He is looking at some on CL that have about 2k miles on them. Could you experts answer a few questions before he buys?

-What is fair market value?
-Any maintenance concerns at 2k?
-Any other considerations?

I ride vintage and have no idea about modern vespas. In addition, with the world turned upside down, I know prices are changing.

Thanks so much for your help!

You seem to have missed the fact that no-one can reply to you in the For Sale section - so I've moved this to GD where hopefully you'll get some answers.

I am just up the road from you in Dayton (OH), and prices seem high right now, at least to me, and there doesn't seem to be a lot available.

Besides CL, I've been watching cycletrader.com, motorcycles.oodle.com, motorcycles.autotrader.com, ListedBuy.com. Good luck!

Wow that is interesting. Why do you think they are high?

Can you give me a ballpark of how much someone would pay for a 2015 primavera with 5 or 10k miles?

I am in the metro Detroit area. I have a 2015 Primavera 150 for sale. Has about 2650 miles on it. I started out at 3400 and just dropped it to 3k. I can deliver it for a fee. Its for sale in the classifieds. Have your friend hit me up!

I would guesstimate that the FMV of a used Vespa in Cincy is similar to that of one in Muncie, Indiana...or Scranton, PA - though those are both heavily affected by seasonal market changes.
