71 Sprint, I had the crack in the floorboard welded. Wish I would have had it done before it was painted, but that痴 okay.
I rebuilt the front suspension and installed the mudguard. Veloce motor, I put in new seals, bearings, crank, is ready to go.
So far I have installed the wiring harness, and I知 working on the cables, the old floor rails and rear brake.
After that I知 not sure what to do next? Front end? Head set? Battery side cowl? Then the motor?
I知 thinking of installing the motor with the scooter upside down.

I would finish the floor rails, then do centerstand, front end, motor, headset, battery side cowl.

What he said. Definitely want the center stand on for the rest. I had to do the motor and front end in reverse order as I was waiting for some stuff to get done, but you値l need that center stand in pretty quick to get the rest in.

I致e heard of people dropping the motor in with the frame upside down but have done it that way. Seems like more of a hassle. Could be great but putting the motor in the regular is fairly straight forward.

I put the cables and center stand on today. Also finished the floor rails. I still need one more long rivet for one of the end caps.
Still off work due to COVID, so plenty of time for wrenching. If they open the schools later this month I値l go back to work, although at the age of 64 I may just retire.
