Hi All,

The crankshaft on my ET4 is stripped so I'm looking to price a new engine. The local Vespa dealer said to just replace the crankshaft, labor would cost around $2000 so they recommend just buying a low-miles engine that they would install for about $400/500.

In the past 2 years I added new tires, front/rear shocks, LX Halogen headlight, euro mirrors, sissybar, and clear turn signals, so I'd rather repair than buy a new bike.

1) Does anyone think this is a bad idea, given it's now 2020 and my ET4 has 17K miles?
2) Does anyone know where I can get such an engine, and what it might cost?

Thanks!
Quito
