Nope I had never seen it. It is a brilliant idea.

Wonder how much it costs.

This is a photo from the company's website. I wonder if under the list of features, they include brain injury? Pretty romantic thought until you toss an idgit on it with a coffee in one hand and a cell phone in the other.

About €6000. Made in Barcelona Spain or at least designed there.

Wow! Not cheap, even for ultimate coolness.

Is it only me or does it really resemble the front of a vintage Vespa?

I see a design infringement lawsuit in the future.

I think for the demographic it is being marketed at, the chance of overturning is of far lesser importance than being mobile in a cool looking way.

Sure, but if that's the case LOTS of scooter manufacturers would have already been sued. Lots of motorized Tupperware scooter makers have copied the Vespa style.

I find this more reasonable, it could be a good tool for help to walking those who do not walk well if used in reverse.

In cases like this I am always waiting for the wrath of Piaggio conglomerates and their team of lawyers.

We are currently in an RV resort in the Black Hills (western South Dakota), and there is a guy here with an electric trike that sure looks like a Vespa (only smaller) from the front. He whizzes by too fast for me to get a good look at it.

Those 'segway' type devices can only brake using regen. If I try to go downhill with a full battery, it will come to a stop and tilt me off the back. It doesn't have a safe place to put the energy. Same thing if you try to speed.

The Segway concept has already been outmoded by the more portable electric 'kick' scooter, resulting with the Segway company stopping production in June this year. I can see the z-scooter selling but in very limited numbers to people who see it as a fashion accessory.

A slight divergence from the OP thought.
Forgive the hijack but this was at our Sunday Coffee Gathering this morning...
Classic coolness indeed.

Circa 1952 Lambretta.
Beautifully restored.

(Sorry I can't post the MP4 of it running.)
