Thats Voodoo and his infamous bungee method - located in tips & tricks thread !

He's very innovative and creative in his approach to working on these scoots we love.
We're working on a old 59 frame together now and he is using lots of his tricks to get the thing apart.

I like Rod_r's version of Voodoo's method...

In the spirit of this thread, I thought I might make a couple of tools to use in Voodoo's cool bungy method for adjusting gear cables.

In theory, the prongs will wrap around the pinch bolts that are fixed to the cable ends, and the bent handles will be used to hook the bungy hooks around.

Just came across this while playing around in the Search , at first I didn't know what I was looking at , this is a great idea with the forks and it saves the cables from getting crimped with the vise grips.

I did mine yesterday just using the vise grips, I was able to see the slack when I went to
4th right away. Great technique.
