Just finished up getting these cases prepped for a VMC 177.

This is what it takes to get to this level:

*Degrease the cases
*Media blast
*rough cut the transfers in the case
*TIG weld the cases where i have broken through and also the gasket surface.
*Set the cases up on a mill and mill the surface true.
*Finish working on the ports shape to match the transfers in the cylinder.
*Run the cases in a Graymills parts washer
*Chase all threads
*Run again in a Graymills parts washer
*Clean cases with ZEP brake wash to remove solvent.

pretty work my man!

but yeah, that's pretty much it. work, clean, work clean, work clean and then clean again before assembly. tedious and time consuming affair.
