I replaced the engine and have most parts of the old engine. I bought it with less than 14,000 miles, with a rapping sound. It was lighter than a rod rap. Took the top end apart and I believe the wrist pin had seized at the connecting rod. The piston felt loose on the con rod and the pin was hard to drive out. So I have everything else except the flywheel cover and the drive system. Head, cylinder, cam chain, flywheel and oil pump, etc., as well as the reduction gears. I also have the assembled crankcase with the crankshaft and connecting rod, but I'm not sure of the condition of the small end of the con rod.
