Another year, and we arrive at this fifteenth celebration for the Modern Vespa forum! Happy Birthday, and thanks for everything, Jess!

As it happened, as I was getting dressed this morning, my 2007 Modern Vespa t-shirt was on the top of the stack. Seemed appropriate.

Good catch Smorris.

Thx Jess and all the mods for making MV a great place for scooter and motorcycle riders worldwide to discuss and exchange ideas and information. It has been a fun, educational and civil place to hang out.

Cheers Miguel

Wow. Congratulations. I wasn't aware of when it was started. I guess I have just taken it for granted. Anything I have wanted to know about either has been covered already or someone has helped share their knowledge. What a wonderful gift. Thank you Jess for making it happen.
I have come to connect with a bunch of wonderful people and learned a lot, hope to continue to do so.
Many happy returns to Modern Vespa Forum & to everyone who makes it happen.

Congratulations to MV and thanks to Jess. I was one of the earliest ones who migrated over from the ScooterBBS forum, and I log in here first thing every morning while having my morning cuppa, after checking my emails.

Great forum and great crowd. Thanks to you all for keeping it alive, friendly, interesting, useful, and a great brotherhood to belong to.

Jess, it’s gratifying to see you again even if only to duck in and give a tip of the hat. The recent folks don’t know how much fiddling and patching went into making the forum run as smoothly as it does. This old creaky forum program must look like an Egyptian mummy with all the patches and bandages.

I have visited the forum EVERY day for the last 12 years and regard the folks here as neighbors. My inventory of ptw has evolved wildly over that time, and my expertise has gone from inadequate to somewhat more. I have gone from thinking I knew what I was talking about to knowing a little more, to less so.
We have lost a bunch of good folks, and I miss them all. I wonder how many of the mute members have left not just this forum, but the planet. (Treppenwitz, where are you?)

So now, wash your hands and sing “Happy Birthday” twice.

Wow! Great to see some of the folks from the early days! Haven't seen Jess here in a long time. I also check in here every day. Still have the scooter addiction as I did in the beginning. Great people and tons of great info.

My BV is the same age as the forum!!

I've been around roughly half that long, but it's still a great place to hang out. I think other than owning scooters, it's the second best thing.

Many thanks to Jess and everyone else making this possible

Happy Birthday MV and congrats to all who contributed (or conspired) to make it a great place.

I'm not here everyday, but at least several times per week. I've learned an immense amount over the years and this little place is an invaluable resource for many around the world.

Congratulations MV! - It's a great community to be associated with. Like many members it's part of my daily routine to check-in to see what's being discussed.

I've only been a member for 2 1/2 years but in that time I have collected over 5 pages worth of 'favourites', all useful information to refer back to and all gleaned from the experience of MV members.

And to think I almost gave up trying to join when back in May 2018 there was glitch with the system. Prospective members like myself couldn't join because of the registration reCAPTCHA process was broken. Thankfully Jess came to the rescue.

While there are others of course, it is kinda rare for a forum such as this go on for as long as it has. I a attribute it to a sound vision from the creator knowing and sticking to what he wanted to accomplish.

So congratulations Jess. Your monster is one year from coming of age...uh in the statutory sense.

I remember saying to myself "Why aren't I seeing any new members?". I thought maybe people were losing interest and my hobby wasn't going to be popular.

Thanks, Jess for fixing that and everything else that you do.
